Music Lessons

Everyone deserves the opportunity to play, perform, and experience music. I believe in encouraging independence and confidence through musical practice.

I currently offer lessons in the following areas:

Saxophone 

Flute

Clarinet 

Piano

All lessons include a background in music theory and history and focus on strengthening reading, listening, and performing skills. 

​

However, no two lessons and no two students are the same. Every student I work with will receive a customized experience that caters to their learning styles and goals. Together we will learn the fundamentals of music theory, practice sight-reading, develop skills to enhance performances, and even learn how to write your own music using music notation software. Whether it is help with band and orchestra in school, refining specific techniques in your performance, or picking up an instrument for the first time, I would be honored to assist you in your musical journey.I have a background and years of experience working with neurodivergent students, and have a certificate in Early Music Education from Pasadena City College. I also teach beginning woodwinds and concert band classes through the Assistance League of Flintridge.

Every year I host a live recital where students have the opportunity to perform in a beautiful theatre located in central Pasadena. We hope to see you perform soon!
